The Receptionist / LPA Trainee will be responsible for greeting all guests providing professional reception services in a courteous & timely manner to ensure a positive firm image is presented to the public.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive clients and visitors and handle incoming telephone calls, taking messages, forwarding calls and notifying/paging employees in a professional and timely manner.

  • Record documents received, process deliveries and issue parking validations.

  • Monitor the location of firm personnel and clients throughout the conference center.

  • Continually remain aware of floor safety concerns reporting problems to THE DOA, OMP AND/OR Operations.

  • Maintain a constant awareness of all traffic in area of responsibility.

  • Perform daily system maintenance on main switchboard console and contact the Systems Department for technical support.

  • Assist LPAs, other staff, and attorneys with clerical overload and special project work.

  • Attend to client needs by offering refreshments and keeping reception area presentable.

The ideal candidate will possess superb customer service skills, an enthusiastic, courteous, and a pleasant demeanor. The candidate must be able to express self effectively, both orally and in writing. They must be skilled at multitasking and be able to solve problems with diplomacy and tact. Familiarity with CISCO telephone system preferred.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous office/reception/switchboard experience of 1 to 3 years or equivalent required.
