The Bergaila Companies Project Coordinator in Anchorage, Alaska

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator for a long- term contract opportunity with a prominent Pipeline company based in Anchorage, Alaska.

The Project Coordinator will provide project coordination support for assigned projects. Develop and maintain project documentation accordance with established processes and procedures. Track AMS-003 Project Management Process deliverables for assigned projects from initiation through closeout.

  • Update spreadsheets and databases

  • Scan and copy documents

  • Ensure Project Data Storage (PDS) files are current and filed in the appropriate location

  • Support the collection and review of gate submittal documents

  • Assist with the development and tracking of project procedures

  • Perform “cold eyes” and quality reviews of projects documents, plans, and procedures, Redline as necessary

  • Coordinate project related meetings and facilitate meetings as requested (risk reviews, constructability reviews, lessons learned, etc.)

  • Prepare meeting reports and track action items as necessary

  • Assist the Project Manager with project status reports and presentations as requested

  • Support the timely closeout of projects by supporting the collection, review, and completion of documents prior to the closeout targets

  • Perform monthly and quarterly data collection in support of assessments. Perform miscellaneous reviews and assessments as requested by the Project Manager or Project Compliance and Administration Lead

  • Some field travel will be required dependent upon project needs

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Required related experience with degree: 1 year

  • Ability to interpret information contained in Issued for Construction Packages (IFCs)

  • Familiar with AMS-003, Project Management Process and related processes and procedures

  • Understanding of TAPS documentation requirement

  • Advanced computer skills, including accuracy and speed with Microsoft applications

  • Experience performing quality reviews and assessments

  • Knowledgeable of electronic filing systems

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

  • Strong attention to detail
