- Responsible for assisting in the provision of routine customer/owner supervision in a treatment or education environment. Responsible for the delivery of mental health supportive services and other advocate services to customer/owner. This is job progression, two levels, designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences to employees as part of the overall assessment of their ability and capability. Promotion between job levels is based on performance on prior assignments and the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments. Minimum Qualifications for Mental Health Worker I: 1. High school diploma or GED 2. At least twenty-one (21) years of age. 3. Valid Alaska driver's license. 4. No more than 3 moving traffic violations (as defined by Alaska Statutes Title 28) or 2 at-fault traffic accidents in the previous three (3) years. 5. Must not have had a 'Driving Under the Influence' (DUI) or 'Driving While Intoxicated' (DWI) violation in the past five (5) years. Additional Qualifications for Mental Health Worker II: Meets all requirements of Mental Health Worker I in addition to the following: 1. One (1) year social service or related work experience or demonstrated proficiency as a Mental Health Worker I at Southcentral Foundation.
