Providence Health & Services eICU Clinical Services Manager in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a eICU Clinical Services Manager to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Consider factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in the planning and delivery of services.
Provide visionary leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
Ensure the eICU quality plan meets needs of customers, staff and patients served by the eICU.
Report eICU data to participating hospitals and physician committees.Collaborate and partner with all levels of nursing staff, providers, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and other stakeholders.
Direct and administer assigned functions to ensure high quality, cost-effective patient services which meet or surpass regulatory requirements.
Maintain and use leadership, managerial, organizational and technical knowledge of areas of responsibility.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Alaska and Oregon
If hospitals in other states enter into a contract with PAMC as an eICU clinical site, licensure in that state will be required
Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) certification required within 12 months of hire
5 years recent ICU experience
Recent management or supervisor/charge nurse experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters degree in nursing or relevant field
