Doyon Security Services Construction Management Intern in Anchorage, Alaska


JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Construction & Operation Manager (COM), the Construction Management Intern will assist Construction Department with all aspects; project and travel scheduling, coordinate field projects, general office activities, project documentation and controls, and work closely with COM to ensure project records are accurately maintained and processed in a timely manner.


  • Preserve the confidentiality of proprietary information and uses good judgment in recognizing the scope of authority

  • Arrange complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for field and administrative staff

  • Good organizational skills

  • Work independently under general direction on a wide variety of projects

  • Travel to jobsites as needed

  • Assist in other projects as requested

  • All other duties as required

EDUCATION LEVEL: Working towards Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Project Management



  • Junior or senior level college standing

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record


  • Will touch on all aspects of Construction Project Management WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Time will be split between Anchorage office and Field locations. Work may be performed in a remote field office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing less than forty pounds.
