Doyon Security Services Construction Management Intern in Anchorage, Alaska
JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Construction & Operation Manager (COM), the Construction Management Intern will assist Construction Department with all aspects; project and travel scheduling, coordinate field projects, general office activities, project documentation and controls, and work closely with COM to ensure project records are accurately maintained and processed in a timely manner.
Preserve the confidentiality of proprietary information and uses good judgment in recognizing the scope of authority
Arrange complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for field and administrative staff
Good organizational skills
Work independently under general direction on a wide variety of projects
Travel to jobsites as needed
Assist in other projects as requested
All other duties as required

EDUCATION LEVEL: Working towards Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Project Management
Junior or senior level college standing
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
SKILLS INTERN WILL OBTAIN:
- Will touch on all aspects of Construction Project Management WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Time will be split between Anchorage office and Field locations. Work may be performed in a remote field office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing less than forty pounds.
